Drying After Acid Etch After bringing them out of the acid etch solution, and neutralizing. The design contrast has come out nicely on each piece. Cleaned up and sitting out to dry for the selection of handle material.

Getting Ready for Acid Etch After coming out the heat treat oven, have the process of cleaning the blades up to put them into a ferric acid solution. This process will bring out the damascus contrast design in the metal again.

Etched and Ready for Handles Three knives that I have just finished etching. Will be polishing the bolsters for the top knife, and putting handles on all of them next.
